Such strong vital beauty in these toned, slender-figured models, immortalized in the flawless perfection of youth by Guglielmo Plüschow at the end of the 19th Century. What a handsome man on the right - that jawline!

Striking young man perched atop a pillar in leafy dappled sun and shade. By Guglielmo Plüschow.

Credited to the great sculptor Auguste Rodin; a vivid, violent scene enacted by two artists’ models - I’m not familiar with the pose, and would welcome any further information on whether this dramatic tableau was ever drawn, sculpted, or even immortalised in bronze.
